London: 'Spider Man' star Andrew Garfield says his youthful looks are a blessing and a curse when he is trying out for film roles. The 28-year-old actor, who plays the titular superhero in 'The Amazing Spider-Man', said he worked very hard to ensure he is believable in the role, reported Contactmusic.
"I was hoping I could be believable and I worked very hard to bring up all the feelings I had when I was 17, which are horrible feelings to deal with."
"But I do look young and that's a blessing and a curse too, so it's up to people to decide whether they want to believe it or not, but I believed and felt like a kid. And that was tough," Garfield said.
Indian actor Irrfan is also playing an important role in 'The Amazing Spider-Man'. Directed by Marc Webb, the film explores the past life of Spider Man.
