KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing of an application seeking to get impleaded in the ice cream parlour case to December 22.A Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice C N Ramachandran Nair and Justice P S Gopinathan passed the order while considering the impleading petition filed by Kolakkadan Moosa Haji of Kozhikode. Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan had earlier filed a petition seeking a CBI probe into the case. The court will hear the impleading petition when the original petition filed by VS comes up for hearing on December 22. “It is reliably understood that the petition seeking CBI probe is on the basis of statements made by K A Rauf and he had mentioned my name also. Hence it is highly necessary to implead in the writ petition,” petitioner Kolakkadan Moosa Haji said.
