A strong earthquake of magnitude 7.5 on Richter scale struck Nepal and parts of North India on Friday. Widespread damage is being reported from Nepal. Terming its as a strong earthquake, Met director GL Gautam said that the earthquake was recorded at 21 degree north and 84.6 degree east.
