Isn't internet trolling an attack on the privacy of celebrities?
Isn't internet trolling an attack on the privacy of celebrities?
Have the netizens become so insensitive that they seek pleasure in harassing the celebrities by trolling them?

Recently whatever happened to Robin Williams' daughter Zelda is nothing but a result of cruel internet trolling. A Twitter user sent her a mortuary photograph said to show her father's body, which was actually a picture taken several years ago of another man who died from asphyxiation and bore a passing resemblance to the actor.

Although the Twitter users who sent her the pictures and verbally abused her have now been suspended by the social networking site. But the bigger question is whether this step would stop such felonies in the future?

The poor soul was so terrified of all this that she finally decided to go off the social media for the time being. It was really shameful of some of the netizens who instead of giving condolences and support to the actress attacked her with vitriol. It is horrible that we live in a world where people can be so mean, cruel, and insensitive.

There are some sadists who find pleasure in harassing others online and they get the utmost happiness when they do this to celebrities. Trolling a celebrity unnecessarily over something is the usual practice followed by these sadists. Have we really become so inhuman that we can even realise the pain of a grieving daughter.

Let's know what exactly Internet trolls means:

A 'troll', in internet slang, is someone who deliberately upsets others by starting arguments or posting unnecessarily inflammatory messages on blogs, chatrooms, or forums. Trolling enjoyment was very strongly associated with a sadistic personality, and was also correlated with Machiavellianism and psychopathy.

All we want is a sense of empathy among the people, who turn out to be sadists for no reason and embarrass the celebrities to the core.

What's your reaction?
