The Josco FC Football Club will participate in the All- India G V Raja Football Tournament this season. Farooq is the captain of the 30 member team and Stephen Lijo is the vice captain.
The team, which is determined to deliver admirable performance this season, comprises of two international players from Nigeria, two national players who had played in the national league for Chirag United and Air India, and two national club members of Mohammedan Sporting Kolkata and Akbar Travels Mumbai.
M M Jacob, former coach of the Kerala Football team, gives coaching to the team. Former Indian players C V Pappachan and ex-Indian coach T K Chatunni are the Technical directors of the team. “Josco FC nurtures young players in a competitive environment. They are professionals at the top of their game. Detailed attention is given to each player and the management gives special emphasis to the holistic development of each player,’’ said Tony Jose, President and CEO of Josco FC.
The team had earlier won the Champion football club of Kerala title within the first year of its entry to the field.
