New Delhi: The body of Glasgow suicide bomber Kafeel Ahmed could be sent to India as early as next week.
An engineer from Bangalore, Kafeel died of burns sustained during the botched attack on the Glasgow airport.
Kafeel’s mother is en route to Glasgow where she will be handed her son’s body after a post-mortem examination.
The Crown Office said the body could be released to Kafeel's next of kin within days.
Kafeel died of burns suffered during the failed suicide attack on Glasgow airport more than a month ago.
The other man arrested in the incident, Bilal Abdullah, an Iraqi doctor, has been charged with conspiracy to cause explosions.
Kafeel’s death could help also the case of his younger brother Sabeel Ahmed charged with not divulging information that may have helped avert a terror strike.
