Bangalore: More than 2,000 doctors from government hospitals across various districts of Karnataka have been holding a strike since Monday demanding better pay and other facilities.
The doctors have threatened to quit handing their resignation letters to the health department in Bangalore.
According to sources, this is their last ultimatum for their demands to be met. They claim to discontinue their duties if their demands are not met by November 27. However, they will continue to serve in their respective hospitals during their notice period.
