KCR seeks Rs 1,000 Crore outlay for Muslims

HYDERABAD: TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao has demanded an allocation of Rs 1,000 crore in the annual state budget for Muslim welfare. Talking with reporters after visiting the office of Jamaat-e-Islami-Hind in the old city here on Saturday, Rao said his party remained committed to the welfare of Muslims and promised to provide them social justice by implementing the party’s poll manifesto in true spirit.He said his party was demanding 4 per cent reservation in education and employment, the deputy chief minister and three ministerial posts for Muslims.Rao said that all sections of Muslims were actively taking part in the Telangana movement and their future would be bright in Telangana state.
