VIJAYAWADA: Several leaders, who attended the Seemandhra Congress leaders’ meeting here on Saturday, took strong exception to the inflammatory speeches and intemperate language often used by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekahara Rao and other leaders against leaders and people of Andhra and Rayalaseema, painting them as investors who looted the resources of the Telanagna region.Senior leader and MLC Paladugu Venkata Rao went a step ahead and described KCR as fascist who was conducting the Telangana statehood movement with the sole aim of grabbing power. Four members of KCR’s family were bent on bifurcating the state at any cost and were inciting the movement, he said.Minister for minor irrigation TG Venkatesh said Seemandhra people visiting Hyderabad were in fear not knowing whether would return home unhurt or not. The relatives of those living in Hyderabad were also worried about the safety of their dear ones in the heat of the movement, he added.Several other leaders also objected to the language used by KCR at public meetings and press conferences.
