ANDIPATTI: The Andipatti Judicial Magistrate Court on Thursday granted anticipatory bail to Actress Khushboo in a case in which she was charged with violation of code of conduct during the Assembly elections.Khushboo, who came to the Andipatti court on Wednesday to surrender and seek bail on a directive from the Madurai Bench of the High Court which granted her anticipatory bail, could not do so as the judicial magistrate was on leave. She could not surrender at the court in Periyakulam as the judicial magistrate was also on leave. The Bench while granting anticipatory bail to Khushboo had directed that she should surrender at the Andipatti court before October 20. Therefore, she came to Andipatti and surrendered at the court. Admitting her petition for bail, Judicial Magistrate Sundararajan directed her to appear in the wcourt on December 12.
