HYDERABAD: The world is hooked to Facebook but chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy is not. Recognising the social networking site’s global reach, he has decided to set up a team to work on Facebook to improve government schemes and make them people-friendly. “I will also try to find time to operate my Facebook account,” he quipped. He said, of the 600 million users of Facebook globally, 25 million are from India.Speaking to Facebook Hyderabad employees on the occasion of ‘Facebook India Day’ on Thursday, Reddy said the government would provide 15 lakh jobs in the next three years by upgrading the skills of the unemployed youth through special skill development programmes. According to Reddy, the state spends over Rs 2,500 crore towards school infrastructure including offering computers to over 6,000 high schools, with another 4,000 schools in the pipeline. “All government schools will be provided computers in different phases,” he said.
