BANGALORE: Kumar V Jahgirdar, ex-husband of cricketer Anil Kumble’s wife Chethana, has sought chief minister’s intervention and asked for justice regarding the case in which Kumble and his wife are alleged of fraud, impersonation and forgery. In the complaint, Jahgirdar has asked the CM to order an inquiry against the Bharathinagar Police Inspector, Pulikeshinagar ACP, DCP of East division and the City Police Commissioner for nepotism. “Though the offence is cognisable in nature, it has been treated as non-cognisable and it has been closed, thereby causing injustice under Article 14 of the Constitution,” he alleged in the complaint.“Kumble and his wife have been treated more equally, giving an impression that the duo are above law, which is totally unacceptable,” the complaint stated.
