New Delhi: 'Hate Story' director Vivek Agnihohri chatted with actor Ashton Kutcher, who is in India shooting for the Steve Jobs biopic, for a few minutes at the entrance of the hotel they were both staying in without recognising the Hollywood star. Agnihotri said he just took the lean, bearded man for a hippie.
Agnihotri was in Delhi to prepare for his next film while Kutcher was touring North India shooting for 'Jobs', the biopic of Apple founder Steve Jobs. He was presumably in character depicting the phase in Jobs' life when he toured India in search of its spirituality and fulfilment.
Agnihotri and Kutcher stood chatting for a few minutes as they waited for their cars at the gate of Hotel Claridges in Delhi.
"I didn't him recognise him," Agnihotri said. He said they "generally chatted about how to make films on shoestring budget." Agnihotri said Kutcher "looked more of a hippie with a beard. But he is a charmer, nonetheless. It also it means that his look was so perfect to play Jobs. Imagine any star from here like that," he told IBNLive.
Agnihotri was later told that it was Kutcher who he had chatted casually with.
