A new trailer of Oscar-winning filmmaker Ang Lee's upcoming film 'Life of Pi' gives glimpses of Indian actors Irrfan Khan and Tabu, who play key roles in
the movie. Shot extensively in Pondicherry and Munnar, the new trailer of the Hollywood film provides the Indian appeal with every scene be it the starcast or the locales.
In the trailer, Khan as the older Pi Patel narrates how he was born into a zoo keeper's family and how his life changed when his father decided to settle in Canada. Tabu, who plays the mother of young Pi, is shown making Kolam.
Shot in 3D, the film marks the international debut of Delhi boy Suraj Sharma as young Pi. The film features music by British rock band Coldplay. The Hollywood film, which is based on Yann Martel's book of the same name, is the tale of a boy who survives a shipwreck after being adrift in the ocean for 227 days with a
Bengal tiger to keep him company.
The 3D film will be released all over on November 23 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
