Election Commission of India is gearing up for the counting day on Friday. Security will be tight across the state as counting for the 14 seats begins at 8 am on Friday.
State's Chief Electoral Officer PK Jajoria said that training to polling personnel and polling agents have already been given.
In Jharkhand, counting of votes for 14 LS seats- Ranchi, Dhanbad, Khunti, Hazaribagh, Lohardaga, Giridih, Dumka, Godda, Rajmahal, Palamu, Chatra, Koderma, Jamshedpur and Chaibasa would take place.
By noon, a final picture could emerge on who would be the major players in the 16th Lok Sabha.
Prominent among those whose fate would be decided on Friday included former Chief Ministers- Shibu Soren and Babulal Marandi, AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahto, former union minister Subodhkant Sahay, deputy speaker of Lok Sabha Karia Munda, sitting MPs PN Singh, Nishikant Dubey, Ravindra Pandey and JMM leaders Hemlal Murmu and Bidyut Baran Mahto.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharkhand is all set to celebrate its victory after the declaration of the Lok Sabha poll results on Friday with crackers and sweets, a lawmaker said on Thursday.

"The party has purchased crackers worth Rs. 400,000 and we have ordered 50,000 laddoos made of ghee... we will sweep all the Lok Sabha seats of the state. In New Delhi, Narendra Modi will form the government," Ranchi BJP legislator CP Singh told reporters in Ranchi.
The exit polls have predicted 10 to 12 seats for the BJP in Jharkhand.
Special security arrangements have been made in the Pandra Bazar samiti area of the state capital, where counting for the Ranchi LS seat will take place.
The BJP workers are excited about the counting.
"All preparations have been completed. We are waiting for poll results. We will celebrate both Holi and Diwali after the results," B Jha, an excited BJP worker said.
