Maharashtra Woman Falls off Train, Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu Extends Help
After seeing the women falling down, one of her family members immediately pulled the train's chain.

Itarsi: A Maharashtra woman, who was travelling to New Delhi, fell from Jhelum Express between Khandwa and Itarsi in the wee hours of Sunday.

Gripped by sleep, she fell off the train at around 5am between Khandwa and Itarsi section.

After seeing the women falling down, one of her family members immediately pulled the train's chain. As she got her foot injured, the family tweeted to Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu, who immediately alerted railways officers at Itarsi railway station.

No sooner did the Railways officers and paramedical staff reach the coach her family demanded for stitches. After the train reached Bhopal railway station, Deputy Station Superintendent Shailesh Saxena and doctors attended the injured woman.

The physicians asked the family to get her admitted to the hospital, but the family said they would get her treated at New Delhi. On this, the physicians offered her some medicines and dressed her wound and allowed her to continue her journey.
