Man robbed of Rs 1 lakh

BHUBANESWAR: Bike-borne youths snatched Rs 1.04 lakh from a person near Unit II market on Thursday afternoon. Rabindra Das, the complainant, had  returned from the main branch of SBI when he was robbed at about 3 pm. He has lodged a complaint with Capital Police which is a few meters away.Das, sources said, had parked his bike along the road by the side of Market Building area. He withdrew the cash and was returning to his bike when the youths snatched the bag and fled.After a complaint was lodged, police went to the bank and verified the details. Investigation is on.
