New Delhi: Micromax is all set to launch its Canvas 4 smartphone today. The company has outed a few pictures of the smartphone and the pictures suggest that the phone will not have a physical home button. Teaser videos have already made it clear that the phone will come with a 13 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, and now the official pictures confirm that.
The company will reveal the price and specifications of the phone at its launch event on July 8. Speculations are rife that the phone will be priced somewhere around Rs 20,000.
The phone went up for pre-order on June 28, and is still available for pre-booking on the Micromax website. Interested buyers can pre-book the upcoming device by paying Rs 5,000 in advance. According to the company, remaining amount shall be charged later before the delivery of the product. In case, you don't like the device you can cancel the order and get the entire pre-booking amount refunded.
"Customers will have a 7 day window after the July 8 i.e. till 15th July to pay the remaining balance," says the company. Post 15th of July, if the customer has not paid the remaining amount, his order will stand cancelled and the amount will be refunded back to the account of the customer.
Shipment of the product will start from July 10 and the product will be delivered within 7 business days thereafter. While there is no EMI option available on pre-booking, customers can pay the balance amount in 3,6,9 and 12 equal EMIs.
