Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's slaughterhouse ban might have hit Lucknow's iconic 'Tunday Kababi', but former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif has come out in support of the move and feels that it is now turn of the all gangsters and miscreants to be thrown out of the state.
Taking to Twitter, Kaif said that after the ban on the slaughter houses, it is the turn of all troublemakers to be thrown out. His post read: “Tunday milein ya na milein, Gundein na milein! Will be happy to see No Gunday in UP. All illegal stuff must be stopped. Good moves #UPshouldgoUP.”

Interestingly, this is not the first time that he has warmed up to the BJP. Moments after CM Adityanath's win, Kaif tweeted: “Congratulations @BJP4India and @narendramodi ji for a spectacular victory in UP and Uttarakhand. UP victory is massive. #ElectionResults.”

Also, with the country debating BJP's decision to make Yogi Adityanath the CM, Kaif said that while everyone has an opinion, it was important to stop the debate and wish the newly formed government.
His tweet read: "I convey my best wishes to @yogi_adityanath ji for taking UP on the path of development and ensuring a great future for the people of UP 2/2."

Kaif was fielded by the Congress Party from the Phulpur seat in 2014 but he lost the seat to BJP's Keshav Prasad Maurya (now Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh).
