New Delhi: Motorola has announced that the Moto G devices in India will soon get an upgrade to Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

"When Moto G was launched on 5th February, we committed to delivering Android 4.4 KitKat within days. We're very pleased that we could begin the actual rollout within a day! This latest version of Android brings further cool new features to the Moto G, including an improved phone dialer, new photo editing options in the Gallery app, the ability to print documents and photos, and more," said the company in a statement.

The phone is a Flipkart exclusive in India. The new stock that will be running Android 4.4 out of the box is now listed on the e-commerce site. The 8GB Moto G (with Android 4.4.2 KitKat) will be be shipped in 6-12 days, while the 16GB model will be shipped in 10-20 days, says Flipkart.

Once you receive a notification message for this update then perform the following steps:

1. Select "Download".2. After the software is downloaded, select "Install now".3. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
