Pastel colours seemed to be the mood of the day as Day 2 of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities began with family portraits that featured colour-coordinated photographs of the couple with RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani.

In one of the photos, Mukesh Ambani was seen planting an affectionate peck on his youngest son’s cheek, while another showed Nita Ambani holding the groom-to-be close.

The power couple — Mukesh and Nita Ambani — too looked resplendent as they opted for beige Indian attire in one of the photographs. Bride-to-be Radhika Merchant’s portrait with Mukesh Ambani saw her flash her million-dollar smile.

Close to 2,000 guests, including Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranbir Kapoor are attending the celebration hosted at the Reliance Greens Complex in Jamnagar. American singer J Brown and popular rapper Nicki Minaj’s musical director Adam Blackstone also arrived to attend the pre-wedding bash. Welcoming them, the soon-to-be groom’s father, Reliance Industries chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani emphasised the “Atithi Devo Bhava” tradition.

The inaugural day was set to the theme of ‘An Evening in Everland,’ where guests adorned themselves in sophisticated cocktail attire. The event, promising an enchanting start to the festivities, commenced at 5:30 pm. A performance by Cirque du Soleil, a drone show, and Rihanna’s first-ever performance in India remained the highlights of the first day of festivities. Day 2 is set to focus on celebrating nature and tradition.

The final day will also comprise two events. The first one, Tusker Trails, suggests “casual chic” dressing, as guests are expected to further explore the green ambience of Jamnagar. The final party, Hashtakshar, calls for an elegant evening with heritage Indian attire.

Anant and Radhika got engaged in Mumbai on January 19, 2023. Their grand Gol Dhana ceremony took place at Antilia, the Ambani residence, in Mumbai. The couple’s Roka ceremony was performed at Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan’s Nathdwara on December 29, 2022.
