New Delhi: The Indo-US nuclear deal has addressed all concerns raised by nuclear scientists and the Opposition, Government sources confirmed to CNN-IBN on Monday.

Sources also say that the deal is within the framework of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s statement on August 17 last year. There is no reference to nuclear testing in the pact.

It is believed that a separate facility will be set up for imported fuel that will allow India to reprocess spent fuel. And in case of a nuclear test, according to sources, the US can take back its fuel supplied to India.

The text of the deal will be presented to the Cabinet this week and is expected to be tabled in Parliament next month.

A meeting between US Vice-President Dick Cheney and India's National Security Adviser M K Narayanan sent the right political message to US negotiators, to do their very best in clearing all hurdles.

The litmus test for the text in the US will be clearing the nuclear non-proliferation lobby.

For India, the test will be clearing all political opposition and inherent distrust of American influence on Indian policy.
