EPL Clubs Spend Record 150 Million Pounds on Transfer Deadline Day

Hollywood stars who will be attending the BAFTA have been urged to wear black to the event in support of Time's Up movement. According to a letter sent by a "collective of UK based female film and television industry leaders", the attendees have been asked to follow suit and wear black. "We feel it's important to make a statement to show global solidarity and to join hands with people across all industries who have experienced inequality and abuse," the letter stated. This comes after Golden Globes witnessed a rare moment in history with many prominent Hollywood A-listers donning black to protest against sexual harassment. This was followed by Grammy Awards where the stars turned up wearing a white rose to support the cause of gender equality.TECHCustoms Duty on Mobile Phones Hiked

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today announced a hike in customs duty on mobile phones to 20 per cent from 15 per cent in a bid to boost local value addition in domestic electronics manufacturing. He said this is being done in view of the "substantial potential" for domestic value addition in sectors like food processing, electronics, auto components and footwear and that the move will lead to creation of more jobs in the country.
