KOCHI: The distinctive quality of Subhash Chandran’s literary works lies in its multi-dimensional approach, opined critic M Leelavathy after presenting the Odakkuzhal Award to the writer on Thursday. “His writings are laced with mind-blowing usages. It cannot be emulated,” she said at a function held at the Mahakavi G Auditorium here.She also pointed out that his award-winning novel ‘Manushyanu Oru Amukham’ focuses on the intricacies of human life in a subtle but effective manner.She also urged the authorities to set up a memorial for Mahakavi G Sankara Kurup, which will be appreciated by the literarily inclined.In another function, Subhash Chandran was felicitated by the Maharaja’s College alumni.Former principal of the college K Aravindakshan presented him with a memento on behalf of the alumni.
