Osmania Medical College rectifies defects

Follow us:WhatsappFacebookTwitterTelegram.cls-1{fill:#4d4d4d;}.cls-2{fill:#fff;}Google NewsThe Osmania Medical College informed the High Court on Friday that it had rectified the defects pointed out by the Medical Council of India to get a sanction of 50 additional MBBS seats to it. A division bench comprising justices V Eswaraiah and N Ravi Shankar, while dealing with a writ appeal by the MCI against a single judge’s order to grant provisional sanction of 50 additional MBBS seats to the Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad and Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, had directed the MCI to conduct a fresh inspection of the Osmania Medical College and to submit a report to the court for perusal. It adjourned the matter to September 24 for further hearing. In July, the single judge directed the MCI to grant provisional sanction of additional 50 MBBS seats each to Osmania and Kakatiya medical colleges.first published:September 15, 2012, 11:17 ISTlast updated:September 15, 2012, 11:17 IST
