President Kalam on two-day Andhra visit
President A P J Abdul Kalam leaves the Capital for a two-day visit to Andhra Pradesh to attend various functions.

New Delhi: President A P J Abdul Kalam will arrive in Hyderabad on Wednesday on a two-day visit to Andhra Pradesh.

During the tour he would visit Sri Raghavendra Swami Mutt in Kurnool district and deliver convocation address at Osmania University and Kurnool Medical College.

On February 1, he will inaugurate Tele-Radiology centre at Towlichowk on the city outskirts and then proceed to Osmania University to deliver the 77th convocation address.

Later, the President would leave for Mantralayam in Kunool district and visit Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt.

He would interact with students of the Guru Sarvabhouma Sanskrit Vidyapeeth and then leave for Kurnool to participate in the golden jubilee celebrations of Kurnool Medical College.

The President would return to Hyderabad in the evening and proceed to Attapur on the city outskirts where he would dedicate to the nation a Laboratory for Conservation of Endangered Species.

He will also inaugurate 65th annual meeting of the All India Ophthalmologic Society at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
