Protesters Do 'Nagin' Dance Before PWD Officials Over Road Project Delay
PWD department had given a contract for road construction to a private company, which despite proposing to finish it in two years, did not do so even after four years.

Eight NCP workers, backed by others, performed a ‘Nagin' or snake dance before senior PWD officials in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district to protest delay in construction of a road.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the protesters can be seen storming a meeting and performing the 'Nagin' dance in front of senior officials.

Reports said the PWD department had given a contract for road and footpath construction to a private company, which despite proposing to finish it in two years, did not do so even after four years.

After a round of 'Nagin' dance, senior officials assured the protesters they will address the issue.
