Rally to seek prohibition of liquor

BANGALORE: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti,  Om Sri Narayana Charitable Foundation is organising a bike rally seeking prohibition of liquor use in state here on Sunday.Addressing  media persons, Hema Reddy, President of the Foundation said, “We want the government to bring about a total ban on liquor use in the state. It has become like a social evil.    We want to follow Mahatma  Gandhi’s  footsteps. We want to generate an awareness among the public about the ill effects of liquor through this rally.”Around 200 people will be participating in the rally which will begin at 9 am from Horamavu Circle, Banasawadi.
