HYDERABAD: Though Telangana employees, including those working in the state secretariat, called off their strike, a majority of the Telangana ministers did not attend to their official duties in the secretariat on Friday since they were waiting for an auspicious time.However, they have decided to attend the cabinet meeting scheduled to take place at the secretariat on Saturday (Oct 29) being held for the first time after a gap of over three months. It may be recalled that the 14 Telangana ministers, excluding Jupalli Krishna Rao and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy who resigned, had stopped going to the secretariat since July 4 when they resigning from the Assembly.Yet, several of them functioned from their respective homes.Deputy chief minister C Damodar Rajanarsimha, city ministers D Nagender and M Mukesh Goud have been attending to their duties normally in spite of pressures from Telanganites.Though several Telangana ministers stayed away from the secretariat, some of them— K Jana Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, B Saraiah and VSunitha Laxma Reddy _ attended the oath-taking by newly-elected MLC, D Srinivas, in the Council chairman’s chambers on Thursday.All the T ministers are expected to attend to their official duties regularly in the secretariat from Monday.
