The noose seems to be tightening on former TV tycoon Peter Mukerjea in the Sheena Bora murder case. According to sources, the Mumbai Police is now seeking the details of his company.
Sources said that the Mumbai Police had written to the registrar of the companies to get the details of the company owned by Peter Mukerjea, the husband of Indrani Mukhejea, who is the prime accused in the murder case of her daughter Sheena Bora.
The police are also expected to write to authorities in Britain and Spain where Peter and Indrani have bank accounts. The Mumbai Police will seek the details of the bank accounts of the couple.
This comes a day after Indrani, Peter and Sanjeev Khanna, another accused in the case, were grilled by the police till late Thursday night.
CNN-IBN had first reported that Indrani had admitted to her role in the crime during sustained interrogation.
According to sources, Indrani told the police of the circumstances surrounding Sheena's murder.
Meanwhile, her ex-partner and Sheena's biological father Siddharth Das arrived in Mumbai on Thursday, following which he too was questioned by the police.
