New Delhi: The Supreme Court has refused to lift ban on Deendar Anjuman.

Deendar is a Hyderabad-based organisation which was banned by the Central Government along with Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) for indulging in anti-national and criminal activities.

It has been banned since 2001 with the government accusing the organisation of being responsible for the bomb blasts in various churches in Hyderabad, Hubli, Bangalore and Gulbarga during 1999 and 2000.
