Suspended police inspector declared absconder in woman professor's suicide case
A local court has declared a suspended police inspector, charged with abetting suicide of a woman professor, as an absconder.

A local court has declared a suspended police inspector, charged with abetting suicide of a woman professor, as an absconder.

Judicial Magistrate First Class APS Chouhan's court issued the order on Tuesday declaring the suspended inspector, Upmanyu Saxena, as an absconder after police informed that he could not be traced despite an arrest warrant against him.

Raids had been conducted at many places including Saxena's house, residences of his relatives and other possible hide-outs but still he was not found, police told the court.

Saxena was allegedly in a relationship with the woman professor working in a private college. She was found hanging at her flat in Misrod in Bhopal on May 11.

Her family members had alleged that she was forced into a physical relationship with the suspended police officer at gun point.
