Three killed in rain-related incidents in Rajgarh

Three persons were killed in as many separate rain-related incidents in the district, police said on Monday.

Anil Pushpad was killed when he fell into Newaj river while crossing it on a bicycle in Rajgarh on Sunday, while Bapu, a resident of Jami village, slipped into a overflowing nullah and swept away, Collector Anand Sharma told PTI.

In another incident, Afzal (18) of Kotrikalan village in Narsinghrah drowned when he fell in Sukad river which was in spate due to rains while crossing it, he said.

The bodies of the deceased were fished out and handed over to their relatives, he added.
