Transportation charges for LPG finalised

NAMAKKAL: The bulk LPG tanker operators and the oil marketing companies have arrived at a mutual agreement on the transportation charges for the next three year at a meeting between the operators and the representatives of the oil companies held in Chennai on Monday.Secretary of the Southern Region Bulk LPG Transport Owners Association (SRBLTOA) N R Karthick said that the agreement was arrived at discussions held with the Tender Coordination Committee of the oil companies. “Bulk LPG tanker operators will be paid `2.43/km/tonne as transportation charges on the plains while the rate for hill areas is `2.50/km/tonne,” he said.
