PUDUCHERRY: The police on Thursday arrested two persons for stealing motorcycles from various places in the Union Territory.Durai and Mariuthirianathan were arrested by the Grand Bazaar Sub Inspector Ragupathi during a routine check after they were found riding a stolen bike.During interrogation, the duo confessed that they had stolen 12 more motorcycles from various places. All the 13 bikes that were stolen were seized, police said.Three Women Held for stealing Laptops The police on Thursday arrested three women for stealing laptops from a showroom here. Two laptops were recovered from Chitra (38), Sivagami (30) and Santhi (45).Senior Superintendent of Police V J Chandran said the alertness of the shopkeepers resulted in the arrest of three women, all from Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu.The SSP (L&O) said one of the women who was caught was involved in a theft case earlier.
