UP Board Exams 2018 for Class 10th and Class 12th are slated to begin today across the state of Uttar Pradesh and while 67 lakh students from the state are going to appear in the exams, the state’s education department to is gearing up to implement measures to curb cheating and other malpractices, one of India’s largest state board has been infamous for in all these years.
The examinations are set to be conducted in two sessions viz morning session from 7:30 AM to 10:45 AM and the afternoon session from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. Candidates must go through the below-mentioned instructions for a hassle-free examination day:
1. Section 144 Imposed at Kanpur
Kanpur has been in the spotlight for mass cheating and cheating mafia. The imposed Section 144 at Kanpur forbids gathering of more than 4 people in the city. Carrying weapons is also not allowed, therefore students must steer clear of these activities and concentrate on their exam only.
2. Aadhaar Mandatory
As per UP government’s instructions, every student must carry their Aadhaar card for seamless admission to the examination hall.
3. Admit Card & its Printed Copy
Apart from carrying the original Admit Card, students must carry its printed copy as well. Candidates not carrying either the admit card or its printed copy will be denied permission to enter the examination hall.
4. Be Punctual
Students are advised to reach the examination centres in advance and report entry on time. It will help in easy admission as well as a relaxed mindset to attempt the question paper with full focus.
