Around 15,155 voters preferred clicking the 'None of the Above' (NOTA) button to choosing any political leader in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh.
While the lowest 3,621 was received in Allahabad district, Kaushambi district has topped the chart. The region includes Allahabad, Phulpur, Kaushambi, Bhadohi and Pratapgarh constituencies.
A total of 8,424 in Phulpur, 8,966 in Bhadohi and 9,098 in Pratapgarh opted for NOTA in the Lok Sabha elections. Whereas 13 of 23 candidates in Allahabad have got less votes than the total count of NOTA.
Moreover, 11 out of 15 candidates had received less votes than the total clicks received by NOTA in Phulpur Lok Sabha seat. Around 10 of 15 candidates in Pratapgarh got less votes than the total clicks received by NOTA.
