Party chief Vaiko has been expelled from the primary membership of the MDMK by four rebel MPs.
New Delhi: After the JD(U), it's MDMK which is facing expulsions. Party chief Vaiko has been expelled from the primary membership of the MDMK by four rebel MPs.
Trouble arose within the party when two of the party's four MP's — L Ganesan and Gingee Ramachandran — passed a resolution expelling him.
They claimed that Vaiko had had "personal reasons" for forging an alliance with the AIADMK during the Assembly and local body polls.
Vaiko had recently expelled the two MP's, Ganesan and Ramachandran, from their posts as presidium chairman and deputy general secretary respectively.
