Veteran comedian Manorama in hospital

CHENNAI: Veteran actress Manorama has been admitted to a private hospital in the city, to be treated for kidney stones.“She had strained herself physically, and we admitted her at St Isabel’s, Mylapore, on Wednesday morning for arthritis. She also has a stone in the kidney which can be treated with medicines,” explained Bhupathy, the actor’s son. The actor will be discharged from hospital in a couple of days, he added.It may be recalled that the senior artiste had been admitted to a hospital last October, to undergo surgery for a subdural haemorrhage.
