While the buzz over 'Why This Kolaver Di' is yet to subside, the song’s composer and the lyricist- actor Dhanush are planning their next project. It is revealed that the duo will be working together in a movie that Dhanush will produce.
Confirming the report, Anirudh says, “The movie that Dhanush is producing is being directed by debutant Senthil. I will compose the music for it.”
Senthil had earlier apprenticed with Vetrimaran, and TV presenter and actor Sivakathikeyan is said to play the lead in the movie. Speaking on his projects for the year, Anirudh says he has a lot of time to think about them. He has just begun work on his new film, the bilingual ‘David’, which has Vikram and Jiiva in the lead.
"There is another composer apart from me in the film and I don’t know what he has been assigned. But I will be composing songs and the background score. Bejoy, the film’s director, is a chilled out person and we have decided to feature new sounds in the movie," says Anirudh.
Bejoy Nambiar reportedly enjoyed the background score of Anirudh's first flick '3' and roped in the composer for 'David' after listening to the songs. Apart from these films, Anirudh will join Gautham Vasudev Menon after the director completes 'Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru'.
"I’m working on a few projects as well, but I don't want to reveal about them now as it would create too much of a buzz," says Anirudh.
