HYDERABAD: Two friends, who were proceeding to catch a private bus to Chennai, died in a road mishap late on Friday night.Saifabad police subinspector Mohammed Mahabooba Ali said 20yearold Parveena alias Sameera, a resident of Borabanda was supposed to catch a Chennaibound bus at KPHB bus stop at 9.35 p.m on Friday. As she failed to reach on time, the bus left."In order to catch the same bus at Lakdikapul, where the bus had a scheduled halt, Sameera sought the help of her friend Krishna to drop her therel. As they reached Khairatabad, Krishna attempted to overtake the lorry from left side and came under wheels of the lorry. Both died on the spot," the subinspector said. Sameera is a housewife while Krishna is a smalltime financier.The bodies of both women could not be identified till Saturday morning when the family members of the victims, who were looking for their whereabouts identified Sameera and Krishna.The autopsy was conducted and the bodies handed over their respective families.
