Kolkata: A 30-year-old woman was allegedly molested by four men at a nightclub on Park Street here.
An FIR has been lodged against the four accused at the Park Street Police station.
While one of them was identified with the help of eyewitnesses and named in the FIR, the other three were identified later and added in the FIR.
The incident occurred on the 2nd of April around 1:30am when the victim and her husband had gone to meet friends at Mbar nighclub and was standing in the reserved section where the accused were also standing.
The accused questioned the couple why they were standing in the reserved section. When the couple explained that they were invited by friends, when the accused got aggressive and starting pushing them. In the melee, the woman says she was pushed to the ground and groped. Her husband too was beaten up.
The Mbar management including the owner intervened. They surrounded the couple and with the help of bouncers in the club, warded off the accused. The club authorities present have recorded their statement with the police.
