Woman sets daughter, self on fire; Both die

BANGALORE: Deepa, 34, woman set her daughter Muktha, 7, and herself ablaze following a marital discord at their residence on K R Road on Sunday. The police said that at around 2.30 pm the neighbours saw smoke billowing from the house and informed the fire brigade and the police. Before they arrived, the duo had died of injuries.  Police suspect that Deepa,  might  haveset Muktha on fire before setting herself ablaze. Also, she was not speaking to her husband since two months and this might have led to the incident, police further said.
