Yeonjun Was Touched By BTS Star Jungkook's Gesture On His Birthday

South Korean boy band TXT had a remarkable night at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, where they secured the prestigious PUSH Performance of the Year award and delivered a fascinating performance. The celebration didn’t stop there, as they marked the 24th birthday of their eldest member, Yeonjun, while BTS’ Jungkook and HYBE’s chairman, Bang Si-hyuk were also present to celebrate the double occasion. What truly touched hearts was Yeonjun’s heartfelt post for the golden Maknae, in which he thanked Jungkook for generously serving him more meat on his birthday and described him as sweet and kind.

Videos from the birthday celebration have been making waves on social media, which features Jungkook, Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai and the chairman celebrating the occasion. Sharing a screenshot of the TXT singer’s post, a fan page wrote, “Yeonjun talked about Jungkook when they were celebrating his birthday. ‘Jungkook hyung also kept giving me more meat for his birthday. He’s a really sweet hyung. I think he’s really nice when he gives me meat’.”

In the clips shared by Bang Si-Hyuk on Instagram, he is seen sitting next to Jungkook, flashing victory signs. Si-Hyuk added to the excitement by writing, “Spoiler alert. It’s going to burn.” The label head wore a black T-shirt while Jungkook opted for a white T-shirt and a beanie. In the next clip, the BTS singer and Si-Hyuk were joined by all the TXT members. They were seen clapping and cheering, while Si-Hyuk complimented the groups thrilling performance and wrote, “You tore up the stage today. LOL.”

The final clip captured everyone gathered around, as Yeonjun took a moment to blow out the candles and expressed his gratitude by bowing in front of everyone, he also thanked them for the memorable birthday. Bang Si-Hyuk shared video and captioned, “Happy Birthday Yeonjun-shi.”

While TXT won PUSH Performance of the Year award for their track Sugar Rush Ride at 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, BTS’ Jungkook received the Song of the Summer award for his solo track Seven featuring Latto. The event featured remarkable performances by K-pop artists, including TOMORROW X TOGETHER and Stray Kids. TXT made their VMAs debut with a performance on their song Back For More, featuring Latin star Anitta. On the other hand, BLACKPINK also won Group of the Year and Best Choreography for Pink Venom.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER has an exciting release ahead, as their new album The Name Chapter: FREEFALL, is set to drop on October 13. Additionally, BTS’s Jungkook has hinted at something big in store for his fans.
