AIFW 2016: Designer Rimzim Dadu allows visitors to interact with weavers

New Delhi: While the 27th edition of Amazon India Fashion Week is already amazing the audience with every show, every presentation; designer Rimzim Dadu decided to go a step ahead and offer something first of its kind of the audience.

Before her show started, she let the doors open for the visitors to explore. Had it been an empty runway, things wouldn't have created a buzz, but there were at least 7 weavers who were sitting, waiting to address questions.

From explaining the kind of embroidery to revealing various aspects about the fabrics being used, they were answering it all. While some visitors made sure to fulfill the dream of walking on the runway and clicking from every angle, others decided to treat their curious souls with some enriching facts about the textiles.

From experiments with Chiffon to marble and leather: the exhibits that were on display showcased not just one but various surprising elements.
