Mathu Vadalara, a Telugu crime thriller, which became a sleeper hit in 2019, is set to amaze its eager fans with a sequel. The film was written and directed by debutant Ritesh Rana. It featured Sri Simha, Satya, Naresh Agastya and Athulya Chandra in the led roles. Brahmaji and Vennela Kishor played the supporting roles in the film. It was a commercially successful film in 2019. The makers have now announced the release date of its sequel. The film is produced by Chiranjeevi and Hemalatha Pedamallu under the banner of Mythri movie makers. It was made on a budget of Rs 3 crore.

Actress Faria Abdullah will join the sequel. Along with her, this sequel has added new actors, including Sunil, Vennela Kishore, and Ajay. Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Pedamallu are producing under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. On the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, the makers announced the release date of the film. The film revolved around two characters Babu and Yesu who were delivery men living with a friend named Abhi. Babu and Yesu come up with a scam to steal from their clients. Deciding to pursue a strategy, Babu tries to scam an old lady but gets caught. When she realizes his bluff, a scuffle ensues and the old lady falls to the ground. After noticing her lifeless, Babu imagines Yesu and Abhi advising him about how to handle the situation and trying to cover up the crime. He takes her body to her room to make it look like she died in her sleep. He then notices Bujji, who has been home all along with music playing through her headphones. the film takes a unique turn after this twist.
