Aditya Roy Kapur on Private Life Amid Ananya Panday Breakup Rumours: 'The Perception That I Don't Give F*ck...'

Actor Aditya Roy Kapur has opened up about why he chooses to not talk about his personal life in media interviews. Aditya has been in the news for his alleged breakup with actress Ananya Panday lately. The duo, who reportedly dated for more than a year, recently shared screen space for a commercial.

Speaking on why he prefers to maintain a dignified silence on his personal life, Aditya told Lifestyle Asia India, “I guess I have always been quiet about my personal life. That’s the way I like it. I’ve never really found the need or the urge or the want to have people know all about me and my personal life. So, maybe that’s why I keep stuff to myself rather than, you know, put it all out there.”

He continued, “I guess may be the perception that I don’t give a f*ck comes from the fact that I’m not as active on social media. During Koffee With Karan, I said stuff about not really reading what people say about me. I don’t think it’s necessary to get into the granular level about what every comment about you is, because at the end of the day, there are going to be people that like you and people that don’t.”

In April, Ananya Panday sparked breakup rumours after she shared a cryptic post on her Instagram story. “If it is truly meant for you, it will come it will leave only for the back to your sake of teaching you the lessons you could only learn for you, On your own. Earlier this year, Ananya and Aditya enjoyed a romantic getaway in Europe. They also attended an Arctic Monkeys concert together in Madrid. While the duo never officially admitted to dating each other, their public appearances and several confessions during interviews gave us enough proof of their dating.
