Cooku With Comali is one of the most loved culinary reality shows in the Tamil TV industry. The show has amassed a lot of success over the years for its entertaining content. The previous four seasons of the show have been quite popular among the masses. Now, a brand new season of the same is all geared up to premiere soon on Vijay TV. A promo clip of Cook With Comali 5 has amassed a major attention from the viewers. It was released on YouTube by Vijay TV. The channel also shared another set of promo clips – which shows several previous contestants of the show – on X a few days back. It includes the Season 2 title winner and internet personality Kani Thiru, actress and politician Shakeela, and Tamil actor Ashwin.

In the previous season of CWC, Tamil actor Mime Gopi won the show, while actresses Shrusti Dange and Vichithra stood in the first and second runner-up positions.

Many known faces from various fields take part in the show every year. Amid the anticipation of the shows’ premiere, the names of a few contestants have been going viral around the social media platforms.

According to reports, popular YouTuber and food blogger Irfan Cook is expected to join the cooking reality show. Additionally, popular comedian VTV Ganesh and music composer Srikanth Deva are also anticipated to showcase their culinary skills on the upcoming show. TV anchor Priyanka Deshpande and actor Vasanth will also be participating. Actress Divya Duraisamy, Dinesh, and Poornima Ravi from the last season of Bigg Boss Tamil are also going to be adding up to the show. As per the reports, actress Ambika, will entertain the audience with her cooking skills.

There have been reports that chef Venkatesh Bhat, who has been the judge of the show for the last four seasons, is said to have quit the show suddenly. Although Venkatesh Bhat has stepped down, it has been found that the co-judge Chef Damodharan will continue to be part of the show. In this case, reports have surfaced that the chef and actor Madhampatty Rangaraj will be the new judge in the Cook With Comali season 5.

Rangaraj is the CEO of Madampatti Thangavelu Hospitality Pvt Ltd. Apart from that, he made his acting debut in 2019 with Mehandi Circus and later appeared in the thriller film Penguin in 2020.
