Golden Globes 2021: Celebs Who Didn't Care to 'Dress up' for the Virtual Ceremony
While Bill Murray is going viral for appearing in a Hawaiian shirt, Jason Sudeikis accepted his first Golden Globe in a hoodie. Jodie Foster cozied up on the couch in a pyjama with her partner and doggo and presenter Joaquin Phoneix showed up in a hoodie and sneakers on stage.

Golden Globes 2021 went virtual this time around owing to the coronavirus pandemic. While many nominees and presenters dressed up nicely even while appearing from their respective homes, some like Jason Sudeikis, Jeff Daniels and Bill Murry took the liberty to not dress up at all and just take it easy, ditching the tux this time around.

Jason appeared live online in a tie-dye hoodie. He even bagged his first ever Golden Globe for best performance in a television series- comedy or musical for Ted Lasso.

Bill appeared in a Hawaiian shirt, as he sipped a drink from the comfort of his home. Jeff too wore a simple checkered shirt and gave off cool vibes.

Jodie Foster, who appeared live with her partner Alexandra Hedison and doggo, also ditched the graceful gown for her printed pyjamas. They were seen cozying up on the couch. Jodie won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Mauritian.

Chloe Zhao, who won the Best Director trophy for Nomadland, also appeared in a T-shirt.

Presenter Joaquin Phoenix also came on the stage with a jump in his walk as he wore a hoodie on top of his formal shirt. He also wore sneakers on stage.

Golden Globes ceremony was hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
