Just Rakul Preet Singh ‘Casually Chilling’ At Home

Rakul Preet Singh is set to star in the most anticipated project Indian 2. Headlined by Kamal Haasan, the film is slated to release on July 12. Ahead of the film’s promotions, Rakul is currently ‘chilling’ in what seems to be her home. The actress kicked off her week by treating fans to an adorable set of pictures, featuring her seated on a sofa. Dressed in a comfy co-ord set in the shades of green and pink, Rakul sported a chic look, effortlessly showcasing her charm.

The first two pictures featured Rakul striking some cute poses for the heartwarming pictures, flaunting her radiating smile. However, the last slide is a candid frame with the De De Pyaar De star indulging in a reading session. Do not miss the binder in her hand with Thalapathy Vijay’s picture imprinted on it. Along with the photographs, Rakul wrote, “Casually chilling.”

Just a few days back, the makers of Indian 2 organised an audio launch event for the film. The star-studded event saw Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the film’s composer Anirudh Ravichander gracing the event. However, it was Rakul who stole the limelight with her sartorial choices. She glammed up in a shimmery black saree, teamed with an embroidered blouse. Her blouse featured a plunging neckline, adding the risqué factor to her overall look.

Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, directed by S Shankar, is the official sequel to their 1996 cult classic flick Indian. Besides Rakul and Haasan, the film also stars Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Samudra Gani, Bobby Simha, George Marion, and others. Further, it has been jointly backed by Red Giant Movies in association with Lyca Productions. After Indian 2, the vigilante story is set to have a third instalment as well, expected to be released in the early half of 2025.
